Kawalec — wędki na zamówienie
The workshop has run since 1973 and lived off word of mouth and the phone for half a century. Every rod is built for one angler, so the site was never meant to sell off the shelf — it had to do what a conversation in the workshop does: show that the rod is built around the customer's hand and technique, and lead to a quote.

What we did — and why this way
A craftsman's catalogue, not a shop
No basket, no unit prices — a made-to-order rod has no shelf price. Instead one clear path: conversation → design and quote → hand build → collection. The customer knows what they're signing up for before they write.
Typography doing the branding
A serif face, cream paper and captions set like an old field guide. The workshop had no budget for a photo shoot — the character had to come from layout and type, not stock photography.
Work instead of promises
A dedicated page of finished rods with the technique each was built for. It's the only argument that works here — an angler buys work they can see, not a slogan about “the highest quality”.
The workshop as trust proof
A page about the family and what has happened at the bench since 1973, with two generations named. In craft you buy the person — so the person has to be on the site.
Inside the site

The “Workshop” page — the story since 1973 and the people at the bench.

Work: finished rods with the technique each was built for.

The mobile version — laid out starting from the phone screen.
